Description |
V1STA RateMaker allows product managers and actuaries to quickly build automated rating and underwriting services from their existing Excel spreadsheet models.
V1STA RateMaker shortens the rating development cycle by eliminating what used to be the most error prone and costly aspect of the rating cycle: translating the rating logic into code and loading factor data. Virtually all actuaries we polled use Excel and most already develop rating plans using it. Ratemaker leverages this work and experience, dramatically reducing the rollout time for new products and reducing maintenance costs.
Building ratings directly from Spreadsheets generates more accurate ratings than traditional code and load, or GUI based rule builders.
