SoftRater is the multi-platform rating engine component within the InsBridge Rating and Underwriting Solutions suite that executes the rating and underwriting instructions as defined by the user in InsBridge RateManager.
SoftRater works in conjuction with the InsBridge RateManager as an integrated solution designed to flexibly manage rating and underwriting transactions with minimal programmer intervention.
With support for all major operating systems and databases on the market today, SoftRater enables organizations to leverage their investment in existing infrastructure while providing platform flexibility for the future.
With the capacity to process millions of transactions per hour, the highly scalable SoftRater can meet the performance requirements of carriers of all sizes. SoftRater Features:

Minimum configuration can process 150,000 transactions per hour; server cluster environments can process millions of transactions per hour
Web service interface (WSI) driven by the communication of data in XML format, including ACORD XML
Usage of XML enables transformation of data to support major data formats and custom data layouts
Integrated tool enables any-to-any XML data mapping
